Attention aspiring female filmmakers
Divas Direct
Film Workshops for Girls educates high school girls in San Diego on the technical and creative skills of filmmaking. Through the mentorship of local women filmmakers, the young women learn the technical skills of producing, filming and editing. The Film Foundation hopes to further develop the culture of women filmmakers by breaking female stereotypes, promoting young women into leadership roles and giving them experience in positions that lack female representation.
