Michaela Bulkley WOAH! NING!

ok so you know how the web address is escoteens.ning.com, well I was wondering what the ning was. so i went to ning.com and you can make other social networks there. Escondido Public Library Volunteers needed for Super Smash Bros Tournament

Want to volunteer at the next Super Smash Bros Tournament? There will be a meeting at 5pm on Wednesday, October 1 in our Board Room (at the Main Library on 2nd and Kalmia). We need to decide if we're doing Wii or Gamecube and what the prizes will be and who will be there the day of the event. Any teens in grades 7 through 12 are invited to attend the meeting. Continue

Peter Great News for Comic Fans

So, recently us hardcore comic fans have recieved a great little piece of heaven from Warner Brothers and DC Comics - the first trailer for Watchmen. For those of you who don't know, Watchmen is one of the greatest graphic novels of all time. It was written by Alan Moore and published in 12 parts by DC Comics. Escondido Public Library Attention aspiring female filmmakers

Divas Direct Film Workshops for Girls educates high school girls in San Diego on the technical and creative skills of filmmaking. Through the mentorship of local women filmmakers, the young women learn the technical skills of producing, filming and editing. The Film Foundation hopes to further develop the culture of women filmmakers by breaking female stereotypes, promoting young women into leadership roles and giving them experience in positions that lack female representation.
