Make a positive impact on your community
If you like knitting and crafts, check out the Crafty C.A.T.S. at the East Valley Branch Library who have been meeting every Thursday from 3-5pm to knit beanies for newborn babies at Palomar Hospital and snuggles blankets for cats at the Escondido Humane Society.

Plan teen events at the library
Come to the Board Room (2nd floor) at the Main Library at 5pm the first Wednesday of every month starting in September to help plan and organize teen library events. We will be working on putting on another Super Smash Bros. Melee Tournament this fall.

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been updating this group, but the Crafty C.A.T.S. are still alive and well! We're meeting today, Thursday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. in the Citrus Room. We're going to be starting a new project knitting hats for chemotherapy patients at Sharp Cancer Center so come join us!

Hi Crafty C.A.T.S.
Just a reminder that we're meeting today at 3:00 p.m. in the Grove Room at the East Valley Branch Library. We have a lot of work to do today - Born to Read is coming up in May and we need to make 10 more baby beanies. Plus, I just heard about another great program where we can help people in Somalia, so I want to tell you all about that today.

We also need to make more bookmarks because they're still selling faster that we can make them! So if you're around please come today!

Congratulations to Stephanie who as been volunteering at the library for over 7 years as part of ETAC and J-Pop Club and is graduating in June. She has helped with so many teen programs including the Super Smash Bros Melee Tournaments.
