Questions about the tournament
1. Can we change our name for the tournament?
In other words, can you use a gaming name rather than your first and last name. Yes, that's fine.
2. Which characters get chosen most often?There really aren't any popular characters. All allowed characters have been used in past tournaments.
3. When it's not our turn can we watch other kids play?
Absolutely.
4. Who chooses the stage?
Stages are chosen randomly.
5. How can we get disqualified?
Many ways - see the tournament rules for a complete list. Some examples are interrupting players while they are playing and touching the Gamecube.
6. Who won the last tournament?
I'll see if I can look that up. Does anyone remember?
7. Can we change characters?
Yes.
8. Can we stay on the stage while the other 3 players are fighting and we're just standing waiting for the last player on the stage to fight?No. That's an instant disqualification.
9. When we lose and don't get in 4th place do we still have our chances?
Yes. Since this is a double elimination tournament, you can lose once and keep playing. If you lose twice them you are out.
10. Can we choose the places of the Pokemon float, the Pokemon Stadium, DK's places, Mario's place, and the Ice Climbers place?All moving stages are turned off.
