That's not weird at all! Most people choose their next book based on the cover art. That's why authors spend so much money to hire good artists/photographers. I hope you like the content of the book as much!

Yup, Burn Journals is the book for May. A few copies have come in already. I'm going to pick them up today and have them for you at EVB tomorrow. So come on in!

I'm only about 3 chapters in so far, but I have to say I'm pretty intrigued. It's really good! I think Nathan made a good choice!

The Lightning Thief books are IN! You can pick them up at the MAIN library today (Saturday 4/4/09) or Monday (4/6/09) or Tuesday - Thursday next week at the EAST VALLEY BRANCH. If you come to MAIN go upstairs to the CHILDREN'S DEPARTMENT and ask for me (Joanna).

Hi Everyone,

The book that we'll be reading for April 16th is The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. They should arrive today hopefully (fingers crossed) but definitely by the end of the week. I'll send out a post when they come in.
