You no shows out there sure missed a good discussion! We had delicious lemon cake (in honor of Natalie since it was her favorite food). I handed out a cool activity guide on the real Alcatraz that you can would get if you were to go on a tour there (after if stopped being a working jail they turned it into a National Park and Museum). So check out the attachment if you're interested.
We also talked about the next two books that we're going to read. We decided that they will be The Burn Journals by Brent Runyon and The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. I will order the books and whichever arrive first will be the one for April.
As soon as they arrive I'll post here and let you know that you can pick them up at the library.
In separate posts, I'm going to put some of the questions that we discussed in case you guys want to talk about them here.
Next book club will be Thursday, April 16 so COME!!
