sorry I havn't been able to be on latley! But i did read cathy's book and it was INTENSE. I was sad it ended so soon. It made me wish my doodles were as crazy as Cathy's. I will get elsewheres ASAP and write about it ASAP!

Thank you JOANNA!!!
Ok, let's get down to business:
1) I absolutely loved the doodles! it gave me a better grasp and feel for the mood of the story; and a clearer picture. I'm still debating wheather or not to call the numbers, but I just might have to today! :D I hope this is a future format for future books!!

2)I actually did predict something immortal, just bacause vampires are the newest craze right now. I wouldn't want to be immortal. YOu would see all of your friends and family die before you, i'm not sure i could handle that level of grief....

3) Never would I disagree that it is ok to kill tons of [eople for one cause. No. That's like saying, "hey, let's burn down the world so that we oculd rebuild it!"

4)I think Cathy is going to, hmmm, I honestly will have to read the next books to be sure!!!! :D

5) I don't believe her dad is really dead, but I believe he might've shown up in this book because authors have a tendency to forshadow events like that.

Sweet!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to read the next BOOK!!!!! WHOO!!! :)

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for a great book club today! For Jess and Michaela, here are the questions that we discussed if you'd like to add your two cents.

1. What did you think of this book format with all the extra "evidence" and doodles and phone numbers to call? Did you actually go to the websites and call the numbers? Do you think this is the wave of the future for books?

2. Did you ever forsee that there would be immortals in this book?!? (Total shock to me!) Would you want to be immortal? What are some of the pros and cons?

3. Do you agree or disagree with Ancestor Lu that the cost of killing a few people is worth the end goal of being able to make everyone immortal?

4. At the end of the book, where do you think Cathy is going?

5. Do you think Cathy's dad is really dead?

If you loved the first book you're going to want to read the next 2, so I've already put requests on them for everyone. :)

Hi Everyone,

Hopefully you've had a chance to finish Cathy's Book by now (or at least start it?!?). I'm sure you've noticed that there are all kinds of websites and phone numbers and things written throughout the story. Follow them! Check them out!

If you're confused about where to start check this out:

See you Thursday!

I'm glad you liked the book, Jess! I've already read the second one and am about to start the last one because I enjoyed them so much and want to know how the story ends. You can check out the books from EVB.

I'm sorry you won't be at the meeting, though...I'd love to hear your thoughts AND we're going to have Chinese food! :)

If you have a chance before Thursday, post your questions and comments so I can ask the rest of the group and we can answer you.

Thanks!
